I have a client with a PC that was connected to a domain somewhere. He had a user password which he had forgot since it has been sometime since it was hooked up. I was able to remove the password fo the administrator and the user, however, now I still can't gain access since it states: Cannot log you on since domain Greg_A is nnot available. This system will not be joing a domain but used as a stand alone in a realestate office. How can I get past this or eliminate the domain it is looking for? Any help appreciated.

Log in as admin, disjoin from the domain (put it in a workgroup), reboot.

Thanks guys for the support. Sorry I took so long to get back, son got hit by hit-n-run driver. CeeBee, could not login as administrator, had the same problem. However, the problem is resolved, talked the client into buying a new Dell Vostro since his other PC was about 4yrs old. Thanks for all your help.
