Time to start with checking the basics.

1. Are the speakers powered?
2. Do they work on another piece of technology like an mp3 player?
3. Are the speakers plugged into the green jack?
4. Have you tried playing a cd? A midi file?

Why use that old creative card when you have 6 channel onboard?

OK, why are you posting in two threads with the same problem? All you are doing is dividing the possible answers.

ok I have shifted the posts from the other thread into here. Please keep to this thread for this problem.
