Major problem. Someone upgraded a computer to Win98 and doesn't have any reference books, manuals, or ideas on what some of their devices are. I did have a little preknowledge of what they were in Win95, but other than that... I am at a loss. The sound card (and video for that matter) are built onto the motherboard itself. I don't have a clue what drivers are needed for the sound card either...
CM18330 Audio Adapter (x4) - Sound Pro
information on the chips itself:
HT1869V+
FBF54
9803
PCI
Does anybody have a clue how to detect what the manufact. is of a sound card (or video) that is built on the motherboard? (The motherboard itself has no identifying marks as to tell me the type of motherboard either).. Is there any utilities out there to determine any of this information??? Any help at all would be appreciated. Thank you!
