I'm not sure exactly where to go to update my drivers. I checked in Device Manager to see the name of the drivers and all I found was VIA PCI Audio controller... I'm not sure where to exactly look so if anyone can help me post here or email me please.

If your soundcard is built in to the mainboard you can try www.viahardware.com (http://www.viahardware.com) for drivers for your soundcard. Otherwise check your motherboard manufacturer's sight.

Sound Drivers for VIA Apollo Pro266 (VT8633+VT8233) & VIA Apollo KT266 (VT8366+VT8233) for all Windows Operating Systems (http://downloads.viaarena.com/drivers/audio/74mu120a.zip)

For all other VIA Chipsets with integrated Southbridge Audio Function (http://downloads.viaarena.com/drivers/audio/68mu200a.zip)

Just in case you need the VIA 4-in-1 drivers (version 4.33 final) (http://downloads.viaarena.com/drivers/4in1/4in1433V.zip)

I looked on the sound chip or whatever you want to call it that's on the motherboard, and here's what it's called:

VIA VT82C686A

and below that was this number but I'm not sure if it means anything:

12C4N7800

So where would I go to update it? I tried that ViaHardware website but I couldn't find anything.
