Ok I have an IBM thinkpad 770z It currently has windows 98 SE on it and I am trying to put windows xp on it. If I put the disc in when it's in windows it recognizes the disc and auto runs it. I enter in the 25 digit code and it asks a couple of questions then it installs a few installation files and it restarts after it restarts it goes in to the windows setup but as soon as it goes to the blue install screen a blue screen of death appears telling me I don't have a cd-rom drive hooked up. Please if anyone has ever experienced this before please let me know what i am doing wrong. Thanks and if you need any more info just ask and I'll be glad to supply it.
