Black Screen Blinking Cursor HELP!!!!!!!

ok first off id like 2 say ive been to a thread similar to my situation but i think my situation is worse and i dont have the materials she had to fix her situation http://forums.windrivers.com/showthread.php?t=71428 (link 2 similar thread)

i hav a insignia d400 that runs on windows xp sp2 (i think:confused: ) i hav had it since sept of 2005 nd it wuz jus recently fixed prolly 2-4mths ago......jus lik tha other threads hav situation i cant go in2 safe mode (its lik tha keyboard does not work cuz pressing f8 does nothing) i hav tried to download sum windows bootup disks but being on an apple laptop that im not even used to im havin a little bit of trouble burning tha material to a disk

I AM IN NEED OF SERIOUS HELP THIS CPU IS WHAT I USE FOR WORK AND THIS APPLE LAPTOP IS I CAN ONLY USE FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS SO ANYBODY THAT IS WILLING TO HELP ME THROUGH THIS PROCESS OR EVEN WITH A BOOTUP DISK OR EVEN BETTER AN APPLE GENIUS THAT MIGHT WORK PLZ I NEED YOUR HELP

i would really appreciate if u wud check these 2 see if i cud burn any of these to a disk would they acutally work

I would say you need to find a Windows XP cd and try putting it in the system and allowing that to boot.
A bootup floppy isnt gonna really do anything for you. All that will do is boot to a win98/dos eviroment
When you first boot does it give you a loading screen like an insignia splash screen?
If you look at the bootom of the screen does it show anything like F2 for Setup F10/F11 for boot order?
