Sloe XP Lgon Screen

I am runnig XP Pro SP3 and it has been a few days when i start my OC or switch user the logon screen responds very slow when clicking a user name and entering the password. Also sometimes the screen is just all blue for 2 or 3 minuts and then loads up.

Anyone got any ideas?

All the solutios here are for wireless and network issues but I don't have either of these?

Checked for malware and Viruses? Also, you might want to create a new profile and log in with it to see if it is that profile is slightly warped.

what is the easiest and best way to save my profile files and settings so i can transfer them to a new one

itried creating a new profile but the same problems presists anyone know anything about this

Checked for malware and Viruses? <----- You haven't said if you have done this. Also, try scanning in safe mode as well.

yes I have tried tihs and normal and safe mode still no luck
