DVD Drive

Hello Folk's New on this forum can anyone help,in simple terms my CD/DVD drive won't work at all !
You put the disc in sometimes you might hear it spin up for a second or two and that's it then you get the little box come up asking for a disc to be put in any ideas Regard's Kevin

If you have some form of Windows XP I would suggest trying this: Right click on the " My Computer " icon and choose " Properties ". The third tab over should be named " Hardware " so click on that. Click on " Device Manager " and look in the tree for your cdrom. Right click on it and uninstall it. Then reboot, and see if this fixes it. If not, try booting it up with a bootable cdrom in the player to see if it is bad hardware.

and run it. Scroll down the website page to 'Download Guided Help'.
