No Audio Device

I have had no sound for about a month. When I check sound and audio devices no audio device can be found. I have an old Dell Deminsion 2300 and am using Windows XP Home Edition. I think this is the mother boad number CN-01K-636-64611-294-M0IP. I don't know the make. If this is the wrong number can you tell me where to find it? :mad: This is making me crazier than I already am! :knife: I have checked my speakers and they are working fine.

I'm glad to be at Windriver. You have made me sane again. I followed your instructions and now I have all the sound I want. I can now play games I couldn't before because I had no sound. :thumbs: Other than the Steeler win you have made my day and I can't thank you enough.
