Hey you!

I have this problem...
The sound in my computer is always hacking when I for example play games, and the hacking slows everything down. When I disable or take out the card, it works as I shall. I've tried to change drivers, I even changed soundcard once.
I can't figure out what's wrong.
Please help me

Regards
Jim

Hey!!!
How 'bout some systems specs...i.e. brand/model of sound card, brand/model of video card, version of OS, which game are you trying to play when it screws up, etc. Some of the older sound cards just can't keep up with some of the newer games. Also, some sound drivers may or may not work properly with Win2K.

The sound card I'm using right now is Xwave 4000. I've tried a ESS-soundcard as well, but with the same result. First I had Win98 and changed to Win ME, but the problem remained. The videocards I've been using is Riva TNT2 and now I'm using GEFORCE 2. Same problem with them both. As you see, I've changed many components with the same result. You know what the problem is?
