[RESOLVED] ABIT BE-6 & Soundblaster Live! value

I recently went from a soundblaster pci512 to a Live! value card and upgraded my processor from a 433Celeron to a pIII800mhz. I upgraded the bios on the MB to the newest from ABIT (BE6 TH)to support the processor. whenever I try to install the drivers for the Live! card, the system freezes at 93% (when updating windows98 drivers). It also did this from a clean disk format and being the first device to install. I even swapped PCI slots. any suggestions?

There is a small conflict with the Liveware 2 drivers and PIII cpu's over 600Mhz.

Download the Liveware3 drivers from the Soundblaster site and use these instead.
