Hey guys,
So I have this one little problem. Not too long ago, I tried to set up my computer as a proxy server so I can bypass some firewalls at school (long breaks, need something to do :)) But that was a failure so I thought nothing of uninstalling it. But now when I go on IRC servers using mIRC, they won't let me connect because I have an open proxy of some sort.
I can only remember some of the programs I used trying to set up a proxy server:
cygwin
sockpuppet
wingate (uninstalled)
WinVNC (I think I uninstalled)

cygwin is only a folder and executable files, but when I tried to delete the folder, it tells me that cygcrypt-0.dll is in use and I can't remove it.

Is there some way to remove this open proxy that I can't find?

Edit: Here is what I get when I tried to connect.

* Connecting to irc.rizon.net (6665)

Since you don't remember what you did, then a repair install is likely to be the quickest first step. You could also check hijackthis entries, your host file and proxy information in your browser.

Use TCPView (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897437.aspx) to find out which program keeps port 1080 open. Since it's SOCKS my bet is on sockpupet.
