My sound is like...gone y'know

Hi, when I went to start my computer, it said that my sound peripheric was using my HSE modem peripheric, and asked if I wanted to delete it, and clicked Yes, re-started my computer and then I don't have any sound, and I don't know where to go to re-activate all this. Like the little speaker on the right corner isn't there, and I cannot play any mp3's because it says "An peripheric identificator out of limit for your system has been used" or something like that cause it's in french.
