Having re-formatted and re-installed Windows, I now find that windows looks forCS4237B for my sound card, but labels it with a ? and ! mark in coputer properties. I also have no sound. I cannot find a FCC ID number on my sound card, and I cannot identify a sound chip anywhere. On the card that my audio sockets attach is FLORENCE AUDIO RISER CARD TGS-90371 with a SN T2378-WRI-00896. Help, please!!!

Go to WINDRIVERS main page and on the left of the screen click on advanced search.

Next page go to Category Search and click on Sound Cards

On the next page under company search for sound, click on Crystal Sound Cards

The next page will give you the links for the Crystal Home page, drivers etc... if you click on the drivers you should find what your looking for.

After downloading drivers remove all reference to sound devices in system properties, reboot the computer and load the new drivers.

Many thanks RGK. Sound now up and running using one of the generic drivers.
