[RESOLVED] sound works but cd player sound doesnt work

I just installed drivers for my rc440bx mother board.the drivers are for Sound Blaster* Audio PCI 64V. the sound now works but when i try to play a cd the sound wont come out from that. My cd player is all right i hope .I know its reading but the sound wont come out. What will i do w/o listening to jim hendrix and steve vai! Help!!!!

Have you got the audio cable from the back of cd rom to soundcard connected?
