[RESOLVED] cd sound throguh cdrom works but not out of speakers

ican hear music if i plug the headphones into the cdrom and i know the cable is connected. All other sounds work except playing cds. I heard that it might be a cda driver that i need. Please help!!!

don't know what windows version you are using but try uninstalling/reinstalling multimedia in add/remove programs.
Also go into file types and see what program is listed for AudioCD. Also, go into your volume control and make sure your cd volume is not muted, or down real low.

make sure your audio media cable is plugged in proper connector,second try a new cable,that is what usally fixes that problem,
