i have a sound blaster pci 64 v legacy sound card and i am getting problems with the wave device for modem part of it there doesent seem to be a driver installed but i just installed the lastest drivers for the card and i dont have a clue whats going on can any one help me with this problem

That doesn't have to do with your sound card.
It's your modem's driver that's not installed properly.

Remove Wave Device For Voice Modem and restart the system. Put the CD or the floppy containing the modem's driver in, and when asked, enter the path.
It should install the driver properly.

Tryed that with no look i think its my modem thats being werid as i have a 56k modem and get connection speeds of only 49k i think ill try posting on the modem support forum thanks anyway
