I have a SB Live! Value card, running under Win2K. The card seems to function OK, but I can't seem to get surround sound. If I set the card to "Four Speakers", all 4 work, but not the sub. I set it to "Surround", and the two fronts work, the sub works, but no rear. Anyone have a clue? This worked flawlessly under 98....

Have you installed its W2K Drivers and Liveware 3 for Win2K?

Yes, I sure have. I downloaded the latest greatest from creative, and it still seems to function the same. I guess it is not a huge deal, but little stuff like this drives me crazy!

Did you choose a surround scheme then?
Like "Play Movie" etc.

I was having some different probs with SB live under win2k till I found and read this kb article from Creative Labs-Europe. The key for me was removing the win2000 native drivers and then installing the lastest/greatest from Creative for Win2k. Installing CL drivers without removing the native drivers would not fix the problem.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, I'll try that. I guess these are not included in the LiveWare updates?
