volume on mute, per sign on

Everytime I sign on, my volume is on mute.
Where can i go to adjust the problem.[/LIST]

What operating system are you using? If it's Win98 go to your System Tray Right click on Volume, then left click on Open Volume Controls. Make sure there is NO check in the Mute box.

How about reinstalling your sound card driver and software?

Go to the multimedia section of control panel (if using Win9x), and ensure that the correct devices are listed in the drop down boxes. If they are greyed out re-install your sound card drivers.
