I need to find adriver for a Opti 82C931 Sound card for Windows2000. Any help would be most welcome.

To the best of my knowledge there isn't one as Opti stopped supporting this chipset before Windows 98 was released.

Found one! Download it here (http://www2.driverguide.com/files/uploads8/1517/930wnt.exe) and see if it works for you.

The NT driver 930wnt.exe won't load the correct driver for windows2000. Any other ideals?

There is an NT4 driver for the 931 chipset although I know that this one won't work as I have tried it myself on a clients machine. The 930 is a different chipset.

Interesting. The link I gave you specifically mentions that this driver does work with W2K...I wish I still had an old Opti to play with--got my curiosity up now.

Oh well, win a few lose a lot.... :p

Considering the age of that card, you could go out and buy a brand new card for $10 to $15 that would have drivers and at least as good sound....
