I just installed the full version of Win ME, and for the past 3 days I've been working to get sound. I've got Sonic Impact s100, I've dealt with tech support, have installed "newer" drivers and everything and still it won't work. The settings are fine, am I nuts? I've got an AMD K6-2 system with a VIA chipset. Could it be a VIA/AMD problem? Help! :confused:
Also updated driver and it installed ESS Allegro PCI Audio (WDM).. was told driver was integrated with ME, is this the right one? Still doesn't work whether I use that or the drivers on the installation cd.
