No Sound = REALLY boring

Well, here I go again. The old SB 16 won´t play WAV and the 98 system won´t help me out. Im at my wits end here.

This all happened after I reinstalled WIN98 so something was erased in the process.

But what to do now?

PLease let me know.

I'd delete all the sound listings from device manager in safe mode and then redetect hardware.
