I have never really like Diamond products because they charge too much for them, but I have a customer that just luvs the stuff...he has a mx300, when I install the drivers for it, windows will not boot, it just reboots, go into safe mode, remove the drivers, it boots fine. What can fix this?

Sounds like a resource conflict. Try forcing the IRQ for the MX300 to a specific address in the BIOS. If it has to share an IRQ with another device, make sure it doesn't share with a HD controller.
