NPaladin February 14th, 2001, 12:01 AM Only a few video cards support this that I know of for sure. hose are the Matrox cards with DualHead, and the NVIDIA GeForce2MX-based cards that use TwinView with TV-Out. Not sure about the ATI cards....I heard some of them can do something similar, but I don't know for sure. These two I DO know about. ------------------ Bryan Pizzuti CompTIA A+, CNAP bpizzuti@earthlink.net ICQ # 8525092 Yahoo Messenger: npaladin_2000 enigma3 February 14th, 2001, 07:01 AM I have an Asus v7700 Deluxe MacGyver February 14th, 2001, 09:23 AM I'm pretty sure that even though your card has a VGA out and a Video out, they both display the same thing. Most vid card mfgrs only provide the video out as a convenience. But check www.Asus.com (http://www.Asus.com) web site, you never know. You might be able to add a second video card and use your existing one for the TV, though, and do things that way. ------------------ sHIFT hAPPENS NPaladin February 14th, 2001, 10:57 PM Originally posted by enigma3: I have an Asus v7700 Deluxe That's the GeForce2GTS....it doesn't support TwinView. ------------------ Bryan Pizzuti CompTIA A+, CNAP bpizzuti@earthlink.net ICQ # 8525092 Yahoo Messenger: npaladin_2000 rwbad February 16th, 2001, 05:18 AM If you want dual monitor and monitor + TV out, I would recommend the Matrox G450. Good priced card, not the best for 3D graphics (gaming). Output to TV I've found not that clear but TV's have awful resolution compared to standard monitor. windrivers.com
