How about downloading some drivers for your video card? What manufacturer and model is it, by the way?

Is it a name brand computer, such as Compaq or Packard Bell? If it is please provide a model number.

If it is a custom build you will either have to check your receipt, driver disks or pop the cover off and physically look at the video card. Then give us the chipset or model number on that. http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smilies/cwm5.gif

Looking up that model on IBM's website at www.pc.ibm.com (http://www.pc.ibm.com) gives this link to drivers:
It's a very long scripted link so it may not work. It's a sis530 video chip.

You need your S/N=0279-xxxxx-xxxxx 14 numbers, listed on a tag, stuck somewhere on your computer. It can tell you all thats loaded on your puter, from the site listed in the above post.. You can download any file you need from there also.
