installed the card but now i have multiple desktops.i tried reinstalling,checking the seating of the card(it's good).tried a pci card which was good.this card ran in the machine once before;with no problems.i tried the new drivers from nvidia.also can someone tell me how to fine tune an agp card thru the bios.

What refresh rate/resolution is the vid card set at? does your monitor support those resolutions? Other than that, you'll have to explain more about "multiple desktops".

okay the "multiple desktops "were three views of the desktop side by side by side.as for the refresh rate;i didn't see the option.i went to prop.--settings--adv.--adapter.but no optionwas there.so i removed/reinstalled with newer drivers.so far so good.thank for the advice anyway
