Hello everyone!

Has anybody else had their monitor disappear off the device manager? I just don't get a 'monitor' entry anymore.

The Display properties dialogue shows my monitor as being a 'default monitor', and the 'properties' tab is ghosted out. I can still access most resolutions at top refresh, as long as it's 85Hz.

The monitor is an Iiyama Vision Master Pro 452.

The graphics adapter is an Nvidia Gforce 3 Ti 200, running the latest official detonators (28.32). I have tried switching drivers (I tried all versions I could get my hands on, all the way to the 21.31 drivers), and while some give me different refresh rates, my monitor still is 'default'...

Any help on how I can fix this? I hate running at half the refresh I could be getting, one some resolutions.

Thank you in advance for your time.

Are you connecting through RGB BNC connections or through the 15pin D-SUB connection? I have the exact same issue if I connect through the RGB BNC connections on my 20" Eizo Flexscan T662-T, but if I connect through the 15pin D-SUB it will detect the monitor as it should be.

85hz is fine anyway for the tasks that I use the PC for.

I just use a standard 15pin cable with the 5 RGB connectors at the other end direct into the monitor.

what was of mor intrest was if i could use the (unused) tv out ,,,

do you "see" any diffeence by using the bnc,s or is it a waste of £20.00
