I have this old PCI video card that has these two black lines on both sides of the mouse cursor. I have used this with Windows NT, which has produced this result.
MY question is it that I have the wrong drivers, or is the card going bad.

I am thinking that the card is going bad. (Spent one to many summers near a furnace that melts iron) That is my thinking I just wnat to make sure that I am on the right track.

Why say no, when it feels sooo good to say yes?........

Go to S3's website here (http://www.s3graphics.com/) and logon (username is archive, password is archive) to download the latest NT drivers. You need to know which variant of the S3 Virge/DX that you have to get the correct drivers. If, after loading the latest drivers, you still have the problem (and I suspect you will), it's time to retire that video card to the circular file and get something new... http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smilies/cwm3.gif
