I can get True Color (24-bit) only if I have the resolution set to 480x640.
If I need a new driver what would it be? and where could I get one?

What video card are you using. The colors/resolution capabilities are determined by the video RAM not the monitor (unless the monitor is not physically capable of the higher resolution. 1Mb of video RAM will get you 24bit @ 640X480; 2Mb=16bit @ 800X600; 4Mb=24bit @ 1024X768/32bit @ 800X600....you get the point. Some Video cards and their drivers vary a bit from these values but you get the idea. If you know your video card has enough RAM then download and install the newest drivers for it and try again.
