Diamond Stealth 3D 2000 pro (S3 ViRGE -DX 375)
This is the driver I have, but I don't know if my screen (being old) is compatible with it, it is not the same Mirai company that is around today. It is a colour SVGA monitor though. I can have 600x800 resolution if I have the colours set to 16color.
Anything that can help would be more than welcome.
Thanks

Sounds like your monitor type is still set to the default Unknown Monitor. If so the driver will only offer very basic modes. You don't have to have a driver for the exact model of your monitor, one for any monitor that uses modes and frequencies the same as yours will do. For some reason I usually install Windows' own Optiquest 1000 driver for generic monitors, it has a useful range of options.
Since the monitor will display 800x600 16 colour, you should be able to set 800x600 60Hz, in 256col or 16bit HiCol, or if there's 2M or more memory, 32bit TrueColour.
The 357 chipset driver will support 60Hz & 72Hz refresh if the monitor driver says the monitor can (Optiquest does) but you won't know if your monitor does 72 Hz so try the standard 60. (Assuming it is non-interlaced at 800x600, if interlaced try 56 Hz or 43 Hz)
