I am working on a system that has an older s3 trio video card installed in it. I have formatted the system but am having a problem finding the drivers for the card. The person to whom this system belongs has lost the original drivers disk. Can anyone give me a line to a site that offers a dl for these drivers? Thanks in advance

Try here:

<a href="https://ranger.s3graphics.com/?license=accept" target="_blank">https://ranger.s3graphics.com/?license=accept</a>

If you don't know the chipset on the card, download s3id.exe from:

<a href="http://www.s3graphics.com" target="_blank">www.s3graphics.com</a> (click on Drivers link)

& run it from a DOS prompt.

If the card is not a generic S3, e.g. a Diamond, you may need to get drivers for that card for it to work well.

Thanx Platypus - id'd the card with the s3ID.exe and got the correct drivers dl'ed and installed -everything looks good as new.

(I have added the S3 site to my favorites list for future reference)
