AGP term confusion

Okay the difference i know between agp x1, x2 and x4(and the soon to be x8) is the speed at which the bus clock operates.
But what is agp rev1.0.???
Was this the predessecor to agpx1?
What voltage do agp rev1.00 buses require? the agp x4 card i just installed will not work? :
