Im looking to purchase a LCD which would be the opposite of a widescreen but i guess would be called "Tallscreen"?(taller then it is wider)
My reason is its primary use would be to use with spread sheets and programming.
thanks in advance

The viewing modes are described the same as printing, landscape for the normal wide mode, portrait for the tall mode. So you need a monitor which will rotate the screen and has a driver with portrait mode.
I've seen a small number in reviews in the past, but not recently. So I'll have to leave it to others to make recommendations.
A search on Google with "LCD portrait monitor" gives numerous links, but not necessarily up-to-date.

...too many to list!
There's quite a number of LCD monitors out there that can pivot to "full page" mode. Most use software similar to <a href="http://us2.portrait.com/products/index.htm" target="_blank">Portrait Display, Inc.</a>'s to switch from one mode to the next.
Is that what you are looking for?
