The problem i am having is one i have never seen before. I am running Windows 98SE. I have the monitor set to go to sleep after a specified time. My problem is that whenever the monitor has gone to sleep and i go to wake it up i get a crazy screen that is blurred all over. I am forced to reboot the computer if i want to use it again. The sleep feature is one that i would really like to be able to use. I do use a normal windows screen saver for short term use but would like to keep the sleep feature for long term use. I have no problems with the screen saver, only the sleep feature. The video card works fine in games and all other applications. I have all the AMD and ASUS pathces applied that were necessary. The processor is an original AMD Athlon 700. Asus K7V mb, 128 megs/133mhz memory, WD ATA/66 HD, and an ATI 32meg Rage Fury AGP video card. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.
