Moving a Users Mailbox
We're in the process of changing Servers at the moment (replacing our existing SBS2003 box with a new SBS2003 box) and we need to be able to transfer the existing users mailboxes only, does anyone know and easy way to do this.
I have read on Technet about setting up the servers as domain controllers and then transferring the files and users that way but really all I want to do is copy the users mailboxes without having to link the two??

Never used it but know of people that have and were happy with the results.

I have used exmerge, it works very well. Easy as dirt and not exactly slow either. Good luck :)

You could always export all users mailboxes to a pst file (including public folders in one of them)
Create the new SBS server, setup the users and import the pst's.... we use this method as its a good chance to get users to clear out those photos of their sister's friends cousins baby.

Thanks guys, at the weekend I managed to move everyones mailbox to the new Server using EcMerge. The only minor problem was after moving the mailboxes and then trying to Send/Receive in Outlook I got a Permissions Error. This was resolved by deleting the local Mail profile and then re-creating, it was just a pain to go round each PC and check.
Anyways, thank you.
