Please help - urgent problem here!
Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum and, well, forums in general, but I felt I needed to register here because I don't know where else to turn.
I've, fairly recently, bought a computer (emachines 3260) and, after a while, it was running slowly, so I decided to re-install Windows to wipe it clean and start again. May have been a stupid thing to do, but it's been done! Anyway, I use a router to connect two computers to the internet, and it's all been working fine until now, as now the internet won't work on the computer I've wiped. I've tried installing the router, but it needs the internet to do it apparently!
Anyway, I was wondering if it was because I needed the drivers to the computer? If so, could anyone help here? And if it's not that, please offer some advice as to what it could be!
Hope all are well and thanks for reading!

Regarding drivers for the network card.
This post is for the poor soul who comes across your same problem of not finding the network card drivers: (and yes i know that part is fixed)
1) check for an available PCI slot in the computer
2) check whether the PC has a floppy drive or a CD rom or both
3) Go to Fry's Electronics (or your nearest cheap computer hardware store) and buy the cheapest network {that includes either a floppy or CD as your computer requires you to have)
4) install that card and move your network cable to it..
At this point, all the other solutions are much easier because you are able to download directly to the PC in trouble. In fact, I keep 2 each of the 10/100 and Gig Realteks on the shelf for this exact reason.
If there is not a pci slot available, I can only assume having never tried it, that a USB network adapter should come close in this situation.
