You can run a cable from your cassette players' headphone jack to the line-in jack on your sound card. I use Roxio's Spin Doctor (part of EasyCD Creator) from there....

To further on Sowulo's suggestion, it's best to record the contents of the cassette to a WAV file (or multiple WAV files) on your hard drive, then burn the CD from that WAV file.

I find that Ahead Nero Wave Editor is the easiest to use for converting old records and tapes to Wave and MP3.

If you have fast internet, just download the songs off the net, as its not piracy if you own the tape (I'm pretty sure about that, i could be wrong though.), that way you get better quality and its usually faster and easier.
