What a pansy. Only five hours and he's dead.Quote:
The 28-year-old was found slumped at his screen early on Saturday after he apparently had played the online game Diablo II since early Friday evening.
A policeman found him in the game centre shortly after 1am, five hours after he began playing the popular game, according to reports yesterday.
Geez...I vaguely remember times when I would play for 5 or more DAYS in high school...anybody else remember when PCG released the full version of "Betrayal at Krondor" on one of its cds?
Yes, beat that game in one ***-numbing marathon. Good times, good times.Quote:

OMG, I did too. Moved from my spot to bring food to my room and relieve myself - no sleep at all. This was right after I got my first computer of my very own, an AST 386/20 upgraded to an AMD 5x86/133...
That's it I'm screwed.. This will be the end of my career. :)
Chucky and his bride never got linked directly to death they just subverted feeble minds.
It's official.. From now there'll be warnings on the packs of games..
The director general warns.. Games KILL.
:D
Seems to be a number of bad reports coming out of China about internet cafes (lots of fires) and the evils of games. I really doubt the authenticity of a game killing people. Palestinian papers report that Israelis use the blood of Palestinian children as ingrediants in food. Government run newspapers lack a whole lot of credibility.
Sounds like an urban legend to me!
Unclear what you are refering to as an urban legend. The use of a non-jewish child's blood in making Passover matzos has been a common fabrication dating to the 12th century afaik. Always used prior to murdering large numbers of Jewish folk. Was reported fairly recently in some middle eastern rag, the nationality of which I'm not sure, but I belive it was Egyptian or Saudi Arabian.Quote:
