the jetway board , is not different than many modern boards http://www.jetway.com.tw/evisn/produ...30CF/830CF.htm ,,,are u saying that the board won,t fit in the case , because it touches your cd-roms etc ,,,,or because the "fixings" at the back , ie com ports etc are in the wrong placeQuote:

i forgot to explain,i tried to fit my new motherboard to the case ,but it did not line up with the hole in the tower, it is a smaller board to the 1 that is fitted.the holes dont match up,to fit it into place

is your old computer a brand name , or has it been built localy ,,,,,,what spec was it ,,,ie what cpu (prosessor) did it have
(i am trying to work out if its an atx or older at machine)

Sounds like you need a new I/O plate at the back
which usually comes with the new motherboard
