That would be a trick of the video card... right click desktop, properties (yah you have to work out which way the mouse goes) settings tab, advanced... depending on what you have there will be a hot key to orient the screen in one of the tabs... go fishing for it.
You can try ctrl right arrow or ctrl shift right arrow and see if the hotkey is working.
Another possible combination of keys.
Ctrl-Alt-Up - right side up
Ctrl-Alt-Right - 90 degrees
Ctrl-Alt-Down - 180 degrees
Ctrl-Alt-Left - 270 degrees
If that doesn’t work, try Ctrl-Shift-R

Nice someone gave you a gift.
Here is something to do with it:
1- Start Internet Explorer, click tools, internet options, then click delete cookies, delete files (check offline too) and clear history, one at a time.
2- Then click Start, programs, accessories, system tools, and then click Disk Cleanup and the following boxes.
3 -Open Windows Explorer and under My Documents create a new folder 'AdAware'.
4 -Go online and download AdAware SE (free version) to that folder: http://www.majorgeeks.com/Ad-Aware_S...onal_d506.html
5 -Open the AdAware folder, and install AdAware SE.
6 -Run it, and click on the 'planet Earth' icon and update AdAware SE (click 'connect').
7 -Once that is done, run AdAware SE full scan.
8 -When the scan is done, click the box(es) beside ANY Critical entries and continue.
9 -Download Spybot - S&D; create a NEW folder 'Spybot' in My Documents and save it there: http://www.majorgeeks.com/SpyBot-Sea...roy_d2471.html
10-Open that folder, install Spybot, then run Spybot and do an 'Search for updates' immediately
11-After updating, do a 'Check for problems'
12-Anything in RED put a check beside and then click 'fix selected problems'
13-Assuming you are still in operation, defragment your drive.
14-Reboot.
Note: ' Major Geeks ' is a reliable site that has both those programs free.

forwindri, you may have a video card that supports 2 monitors. Do you have a choice of video ports on your display adapter? If you do, connect the video cable to the other port and see what happens. It might be that you have a card with dual monitor support, and the connection you are using was configured to support a ceiling mounted LCD projector. Most projectors have settings to invert the image, but I've seen a few users ignore this feature and use video card software to do the same thing.
If you don't have a second video port available, you are going to have to change some of the advanced settings for you video card, and it would be helpful if you could supply info about brand and model.
