Well I can only say email Gigabyte with the exact model and see what they say about the ram.
My system will accept 1066 ram with the 9850 in there but I bought a pair of Kingston HyperX 1066 modules and the board refuses to detect them as 1066.
Now I know your only using 800 mhz but since you haven't made the purchase I would make sure
Gigabyte has said it will work if i go into the bios and change the settings manually
which i cant say I am keen to do for the sake of the difference between 800 and 1066.
Personally I think it should detect it automatically but the HyperX is aggressive timmings they say
I rarely pay attention to such lists when I want up to date information.
And whats the all fired big hurry?
I have E-mailed gigabyte and asked them if the memory is compatable.
I have found this and also asked if it will work
Kingston 4GB PC2-8500 HyperX (2x2GB)

Vakas I must apologize for all of the crap being spewed in here.
We really are here to give advice as best as we can and as demonstrated by the email you sent for the cpu support it took just a day or 2. It also provided completely accurate information.
Stick to the email system with gigabyte and you wont go wrong as you might with some other methods spewed in here.
Vakas, I use Crucial memory - give them a call and they will get you the right memory and if for any reason it doesn't work, send it back and they replace/refund no questions asked... that guarantee is good for the lifetime of the RAM. www.crucial.com/uk
OMG you are quite right, he doesn't have to call, but since the call is toll free and since the customer service people are incredibly good, if Vakas wants the reassurance of talking to someone about the RAM he can do so. I am sure Vakas is mature enough to pick and choose which courses of action he wants to take from the options that people offer here.

I had a look at the link you posted and it does support my board and I have found a local retailer where I can aquire the crucial memort from Thanks.
I went to the place hwere I am going to get all my new stuff and the reason the Kingston HyperX 1066 memory does not work witt the board I chose it because the board does not support the high voltage of the memory, The board supports a lower voltage.
