linksys wireless pci adapter

I recently got a linksys wireless pci adapter and i installed it on my machine. I installed the drivers off of the cd that came with the card and i downloaded the new ones from linksys and the card will still not install right. I keeps prompting me on startup saying that it could not start instant wireless adapter 001 and in the device manager it keeps telling me that the drivers are not installed. I removed it and reinstalled it many times and even in safe mode but still no dice. Please need help

Need some more specifics (OS, hardware, etc) If your mobo has ISA slots i can guarrentee you will have an almost impossible chore ahead of you. Are you installing with the PC card in it? According to their manual you have to do this prior to bootup.
