Need a Trigem Lomita from HP REALLY BAD!

Hey techies,

This is probably not the place to post this - but...

I need a Trigem Lomita mobo from a HP Pavilion like really badly. I cannot find one anywhere. I will take new or used, just a non-DOA warranty would suffice.

Pardon me, Windrivers forum masters, but I am desperate.

Which Pavilion model? Have you already got a part number for that mobo?

Once you get a good p/n for that mobo, try Googling.

Wait a minute, you have a dead Trigem board? Hurray! Just like being cured of leprosy, isn't it? And you want to have it again? Huh? Instead you might try: http://www.maxcooler.com/socket370mb.html for a better quality board that should work for you.

Before you go this route, I would look at the picture of the DFI board closely with an eye toward clearance issues involving the CPU fan and drive placement in your case. I think it should work, just be careful.

BUT... (doesn't this guy ever shut up?), this could all be a waste of your time.
I mean, why do you need the board? Are you sure that the MOBO is the only problem in this system? Heck, isn't this just the perfect time to dump obsolete technology and replace that old pig?

I've got a motherboard from an HP 6740c (Canadian) that is socket 370. It's got a Celeron 566 in it.
