i just bought a HIS geforce mx 32MB card with tv out and i realized that the tv out port on the card has 4 prongs and 1 black one but my tv has the RCA jack input. What kind of adapter do i need and where can i get one

This is called S-VHS. What you need is an S-VHS-to-RCA adapter.

ok I got one but i now card doesnt recognize my tv ; it grayed out in the card properties.
What can i do to make it recognize my tv

are you working with the original drivers that came with the card, or with newer drivers? also, what OS and direct x version are you using?
I have just setup an TV out video adapter combination and there is a very special trick. Followthese instructions step-by-step:
1. turn off EVERYTHING (TV and Computer)
2. Connect Video output to TV
3. Turn ON TV FIRST... A VERY IMPORTANT STEP
4. Set your TV to whatever chennel/input it needs
5. Turn on computer.
You might notice the TV flickers and looks rather crappy. Ignore this. Your computer should boot normally. Then set you display properties to output to TV... This option should NO LONGER be greyed out!
