LCD Refresh Rate?
In the Display Properties, I can increase the refresh rate from 60 to as high as 100. Does this actually have any effect on a TFT LCD display? Could it cause any harm to run it too high? I've tried both 60 and 100 and can see no difference at all.

I don't think it does anything, but if you can't see a difference, I would leave it on the slower speed, just in case.b https://forums.windrivers.com/

LCD panels do not have scan lines like a crt monitor.

The TFT and video card sync regardless of that setting, however if you set it manually that is what it will be sending out the vga port - keep this in mind for attaching an external monitor.
