I have a dell desktop that will only boot to safe mode. You can force it to give you the options but no matter what you hit it just goes to safe mode without even trying to go normal mode. I have also tried running, using the disc, startup repair and system restore and neither work. I did see in system restore where a reg program had been installed so I'm assuming the reg is damaged. Backup reinstall you think?
