I've been shopping for a dual Celeron motherboard and discovered the Amptron 2200A. It has an LX chipset and a core frequency of 66, but at $52.00 it seems like a steal. Is there something wrong with tis MB? The price seems fishy.... any comments..

Have not seen this particular board but it does sound fishy. Does it have slots or sockets??? If it has slots then you are in for a lot of fun ' butchering ' your CPU's or SlotKets to get the Celerons running in SMP mode. if you want more info on this subject then I suggest you goto to http://www.tomshardware.com or http://www.bxboards.com where you will find all the neccesary adjustments to allow your CPU's to run in parallel. Failing this or to take the easy way out, get yourself an Abit BP6 and PPGA CPU's.
