Looking for effective/reliable command line scanners.

I used to use 2-3 command line virus scanners and unfortunately 2 have gone MIA. The one I have left is NOD32DOS and it's been missing a lot of the newer infections as of late. I generally like to run 2 command line scanners so they can overlap each other. I'm not picky free or "pay to play" are both fine to me. Just let me know if it's something I have to pay for so I can attempt getting a trial usage.

Also can anyone give me any ideas on how to boot a PC in a command prompt with the ability to get online? I've seen one such concept via the Hiren's Boot CD but it was totally foreign to me and there was no documentation on its usage that I could readily find. This isn't necessary but I figured I'd ask since it's a bit in relation to my original question.

I've been having very good luck with superantispyware portable..

it's a good one for running from a usb drive or cd in safe mode and getting the worst stuff off..you have to download it fairly frequently to get the updates, but it names itself in random ways to hide from malware
