[RESOLVED] Epson Stylus Color 300 inkjet driver for win2000

Hi all,

A friend of mine is looking for a driver for Epson Stylus Color 300 inkjet driver compatible with windows 2000. We've checked everywhere and tried the drivers for 3.1/95/98/NT but none of it seem to work. Epson's official driver support doesn't seem to have any win 2000 driver for this Epson Stylus Color 300 inkjet.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried adding it under the Add Printer Wizard...just select it from the list provided. You might need your Win2000 CD Disk for this...

I also found this FAQ on Epson's website:

"Q: Which printer should I select from my Windows/DOS applications?

A: If the Stylus 300 is not a choice in your software, select one of
the following: LQ-(570, 570+, 870, 870+, 1070, 1070+) LQ-(500, 510,
850, 950, 1050)."

I think I would try the LQ570...
