[RESOLVED] I don't care how stupid I might seem! HELP

I cannot get the cd rom recognized

Ihave tried the drivers and a disk called "cdromgod" that changed my config.sys and autoexec.bat files

I have looked at both files from dos edit but can not figure out what they were originally.

I am running win98 I don't to shut down my computer with mt autoexec.bat and config.sys files this way I don't know what will happen.

Can anyone help me to restore these files and then install my cdrom drive.
